It was in December 2010 when we dined in at this famous restaurant. We were lucky enough to get a table just before the Swiss legendary chef, Gerard Rabaey, retired.
Unfortunately, we do not remember the name of the plates anymore. How we wish we had taken notes back then.. Nevertheless, we have kept the mouth-watering photos of the plates that we had.
Second plate: Scallops (Coquilles St. Jacques)
This was my (Cat) favorite plate.. the scallops just melt in your mouth. Yummy!!!
Third plate: Cannelloni de ris de veau
Fourth plate: Poisson en papillote
Fifth plate: Pigeon breast
Overall, we enjoyed the food very much.. The service was impeccable and the sommelier suggested a very good wine that was perfectly paired with our meals.
Unfortunately, Le Pont de Brent has lost one Michelin star after Chef Gerard Rabaey’s successor, Chef Stéphane Décotterd took over.
We have not had yet the opportunity to dine in again at this marvellous restaurant, but it is definitely on our list to discover Chef Decottérd’s creations.
